Definition of Terms

It is easier to analyze your data if you are familiar with the terms inside the tool. If you find it difficult to understand what each terminology stands for, don't worry! We got you covered. 

Here is a list of the commonly used terms, and what they actually mean:

  • BSR- BSR stands for Best Seller Rank and is an indicator calculated by Amazon which represents the sales velocity of a product, or how many sales does a product has on average. This blog shows a details explanation of what BSR is and how it is calculated
  • LQS - LSQ means Listing Quality Score, which is an in-house algorithm that is used to measure optimization of a listing.  The values for the LQS vary from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest score which represents the best-optimized listing. You can read more about LQS here.
  • Net - Product price, minus the Amazon FBA fee
  • Fee - Amazon FBA fee
  • Position - Ranking position of the Keyword in organic Amazon search results
  • Opportunity Score (OS) -  OS reflects the ratio between demand, competition, and quality of listings. It is a number from 0-10, and a high score (8-10) indicates that this niche could be a great opportunity for sellers, while a low score (0-2) does the opposite.
  • Search Volume (SV) - Refers to the volume/number of searches for a specific keyword within a specific timeframe
  • ASIN - ASIN stands for Amazon Standard Identification Number. It’s a 10-character alphanumeric unique identifier that’s assigned by Amazon
