Database Research Overview

The Database Research tool allows you to access millions of daily scanned products from Amazon. You can easily products that meet your criteria and help you make the right product selection.

In this article, we'll introduce you to the Database Research tool and call out some of the features you'll be using most often.

Navigating the Database Research

You'll find the Database Research Tool on the second tab after logging in, just beside the Product Tracker. Here are some of the features you need to know, in order to fully utilize the tool:

  • Main Categories - this section allows you to select which product category you'd like to include in your research.
  • Sub-categories - You can input your product's subcategory. Once you type in a word, you will then see a drop-down with subcategory options related to the word you added. If no subcategory is added, the search will be done for all subcategories
  • Min - Max Filters - this option allows you to filter products based on the minimum and maximum values for each field. This helps you narrow down your search to only those products that matter.
  • Additional Filters - Aside from the filters shown above, you can also filter products by Product Size, Seller Type, Keywords, and Brand. 
    • Pro Tip: You can also save a filter by clicking the "Save" under Filters. This makes it easier for you to research products on the same filters every time you log in. Just click "Apply" to select the saved filter you would like to
