Navigating the Live Amazon Scanner

The Live Amazon Scanner shows the same results as Amazon when typing in a keyword in the Amazon Search Box. The difference is we provide additional data, on top of the details shown on Amazon's product page. Let's get to know some of the icons and other elements on the tool:

  • Search Bar - You can enter a specific keyword and filter on a specific Department, as you would when doing a search in Amazon. You can also just select All Departments, and the keyword if you would like to broaden your search.
  • Average Values - This shows the average values for each metric, based on the displayed products on each page. The Values may change, depending on the number of items shown.
  • Number of items per page - You can select the number of products to display on each page. Either the top 10, 25, 50, or 100 results. Note that the Average Values change, whenever you change the number of items displayed. You can also use the Search box to look up specific items in the results.
  • Save Search - You can save your search and check the data over a period of time by clicking the Save Search button. Once saved, you can see the keyword and the average values for that date on the Saved Searches tool.
  • Export - This allows you to export the results to a CSV file, in case you need it for your records.
  • Icons - If you wish to check the specific product on Amazon, just click the "a" button, and you'll be redirected to the Amazon Product Page. Clicking the "+" sign will allow you to add the item to your Product Tracker.
